Using your imagination!

We have been talking about imagination this week and different ways to be creative and play pretend. Just thought I would share a few pictures of some of the ways we "practiced" using our imagination. We played with "straws and connectors." These are always a big hit, but I hold them out until we do this theme to introduce them. The kids can build a lot of things-and if they work together they can really make something big.

We also played with playdoh and I was asking what they were making and encouraged them to be creative.

Our conversation daily:
Me: Allie, what did you do at school today?
Allie: Nothing.
Me: Did you work on a letter or make something.
Allie: No mom I didn't do anything.
Then she takes off running to another room.
It's nice to see she is doing something. I just wish she would tell me about it.

Oh Kim.....Sea is the SAME way! I ask every time he goes to pre-school and he says "nothing" every time! It just makes me laugh because then all of a sudden he will bust out with a new song and I know he learned it there! LOL
Emily......we just love you and your pre-school!
