What Moves You?
If your child happens to share what we did today, they aren't fibbing when they say I made them draw with their eyes closed. We were discussing music today and one of our activities included listening to music with their eyes closed. Then they had a marker and paper and could draw how they "felt" listening (while they listened). This was interesting! When you see the picture, try asking about their feelings. We also sang some silly action songs and will continue this all week. Ask them if they have a wiggle in their toe!

We exchanged Valentine's! The boxes that we decorated turned out so cute and they were really excited to hand out the cards and candy that they worked on so hard at home. Really fun day today.

We decorated cupcakes. The instructions were to eat one (if they wanted) and save one to take home...they could even share it with someone they love. They look yummy!

What's love got to do with it?
This week our theme has been "Love" to go along with Valentine's Day. We were discussing what/who we love. Pets, people, and toys were all mentioned. One student said that she loved her "imaginary sister named Elizabeth." Was this your child?

Lucky You!
This is from a student's parent's blog and I made a comment, so I have to copy it! This could be fun! This is great "reward" for those checking in on us!
Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may involve glue and glitter... I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.
The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
