What Moves You?
If your child happens to share what we did today, they aren't fibbing when they say I made them draw with their eyes closed. We were discussing music today and one of our activities included listening to music with their eyes closed. Then they had a marker and paper and could draw how they "felt" listening (while they listened). This was interesting! When you see the picture, try asking about their feelings. We also sang some silly action songs and will continue this all week. Ask them if they have a wiggle in their toe!

Abby doesn't like to share what she has done at school. I asked her what she did and she said, "My T page and sing songs, that's all!" Maybe she just isn't a talker like her dad.
Savannah was so excited to come home and tell me that she drew a picture with her eyes closed while listening to music. Savannah loves preschool. Emily does a great job of making it fun and educational. Today, Savannah asked me if she would be in school and get to see our baby after it is born. I told her if she was, she would be checked out of school for the day. She said,"But mom I might miss something."
