Teeth! Fabulous Teeth!

As part of our "teeth/Dental Health" week, we had a special visitor named Melanie. She is a dental hygienist in my dentist's office. She had some really cute demonstrations about brushing and flossing. She also brought toothbrushes and floss for them to take home. The kids behaved really well and participated enthusiastically!

Hedgie!

We had Eric the Hedgehog come and visit our preschool. There was some confusion as to what kind of animal (I heard fox and porcupine!). He was very sweet and the kids were very interested. They keep asking if he is coming back. Here are some pictures to help tide them over. A few students couldn't be talked into touching him-you can't blame them! But the rest were pretty enthusiastic. It went well. The one showing (the owner) is my brother Benjamin. He talked to them about how he takes care of the Hedgehog, what he eats and also fielded some great questions.
