Spring??
Where did Spring go? Of course we have been building it up at school because the calendar says that it's Spring, but no one told the weather. That's okay because we did discuss the fact that Spring can be unpredictable! We had such a storm today (Thursday) that we actually had hot cocoa to drink! I did this the first time it snowed (in December, I think) and maybe it will be a good way to END the snow-season. This week, your child is probably humming "Little Bunny Foo-Foo" because we have been singing it (honoring all the little animals that are born in Spring-5 Little Ducks too). I hope parents know this song-even if you don't try to have them sing it for you. Hilarious! (I hope they ask you what a "goon" is-have fun explaining!). We also have discussed all the changes in the season and played a "seed planting game." Next 2 weeks the theme is Easter!

Yes, we had to discuss what a goon is, because Laurel would sing the song and then tell me how Carter and Rachel got to go on a scary ride together at "the goon." (Lagoon) I think we have it all staighgtened out now.
Abby has been singing the song, but until just now while I am typing this she hasn't sang past the popping them on the head part. She just sang we the whole song and didn't ask what a goon was, lucky me!
